Horsepower A Golf Outing Supporting Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Services at Out Side In
OSI is a not-for-profit organization located on 25 acres in beautiful Grand Haven and specializes in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) for men, women and children living in the communities of West Michigan.
Out Side In rescues unwanted Thoroughbred horses and uses them to treat those who suffer from emotional, behavioral and mental health issues. EAP has quickly become recognized as a very successful method of treatment for many different populations and is particularly effective for those who don't respond to traditional treatments.
OSI specializes in treating trauma victims including Women and Children who have been the victims of physical, sexual and emotional abuse and US Veteran's suffering from PTSD, known as the Horses for Heroes program. OSI is the only facilities of its kind in Michigan offering Equine Assisted psychotherapy by Licensed Therapists and Equine Specialists.
Our goal with the first annual Horsepower Golf Outing is to raise funds to meet the increasing demand for services, specifically OSI's Horses For Heros. All proceeds will go directly toward providing therapy for those who are under or uninsured. There are numerous ways to support OSI through the golf outing. If you’re interested in supporting OSI outside of the golf outing feel free to contact us.
